  • Vice Presidents are expected to help expand the Society by contacting annually, as their schedules permit, a few schools in their region that do not have chapters of Pi Delta Phi. The Board provides lists of non-Society schools and sample letters of invitation. Nearly all of the Society's new chapters stem from VP recruitment efforts.

Vice Presidents may also elect to give a paper or chair a session during the conference and thus avoid using their home institution's faculty conference funds. While PDP covers the required ACQS association fee (unless the VP is already a member), board members who wish to attend or to participate in conference sessions are expected to pay their own conference registration fees.
